Benjamin has been working at Satair for nine years, initially as a logistics manager for our warehouse in Hamburg, then transitioning to a global project manager role for logistics in 2016, and currently serving as the head of global logistics footprint and processes. Read his story below.
Why did you join Satair?

What keeps you motivated on the job at Satair?
What continues to motivate me every day is the agility of our operations, the strong sense of camaraderie within the team, and the exhilarating pace at which we drive change. It's the opportunity to shape the future of logistics that fuels my passion and commitment to this role.

Which of our company values resonate with you? Can you recall a situation in which you or someone else lived up to our values?
An experience that stands out during my tenure at Satair is the launch of our first AutoStore storage technology in Hamburg in 2020. Our team embodied the values of unity, customer focus, creativity, and respect as we collaborated seamlessly with our Third Party Logistics Partner to bring this innovative technology to life. This endeavor exemplified Satair's values, and I'm proud to have been a part of it.
What advice would you give a fellow Newcomer?
Dare to think outside the box and approach challenges from an end-to-end perspective. Embrace the opportunity to innovate and collaborate across diverse teams, for therein lies the key to unlocking our full potential.
Tell us about one of the most memorable experiences from your time at Satair. What made it so special and unforgettable?
One of the most unforgettable experiences during my time at Satair was undoubtedly the Go Live of our first AutoStore in 2020. The camaraderie, sense of achievement, and the knowledge that we were pioneering a transformative change in our industry made it a truly memorable milestone.
