Say hello to Ginger
Ginger joined Satair in May of 2023 and is working as a Human Resources Business Partner. Read her story below.
How long have you been working at Satair? Please briefly describe your career path.
I have been working at Satair as an HR Business Partner for 9 months (hire date May 23, 2022). My career in Human Resources began as an HR Generalist. After obtaining a Master's in Management, specializing in Human Resources, along with many development opportunities, I was promoted into a Human Resources Manager role. My current role is a Human Resources Business Partner for Satair with Human Resource responsibilities for the Peachtree City, GA and Miami, FL locations.
Why did you join Satair?
I joined Satair in May 2022 for professional development opportunities to explore the next step in my career. It was also a great opportunity to work in a new industry with a global team and employees from different cultures and backgrounds.
What keeps you motivated on the job in Satair?
The people! Every day I get the opportunity to support and help employees, which is my passion. I also work with an amazing People Operations team, both in the US and globally.

Which of our company values resonate with you? Can you recall a situation in which you or someone else lived up to our values?
The company value that resonates most with me is Respect. I truly believe in treating others as you would like to be treated, and embracing diversity. For example, I recently saw a colleague go out of their way to help a new employee who was feeling lost. The colleague took the time to explain the company's policies and procedures, and to answer the employee's questions. This showed me that Satair truly values respect and inclusion.
What advice would you give a fellow newcomer?
Soak it all in! You will learn a lot about the company and your role in the first few months. But also make sure to learn as much as you can from your colleagues and establish cross-functional connections. Take advantage of the endless opportunities to develop your career. The sky's the limit in terms of learning and development at Satair!
Tell us about one of the most memorable experiences from your time at Satair. What made it so special and unforgettable?
My most memorable experience at Satair was Newcomer's Day. I attended as a newcomer, but also had the opportunity to help organize the event. Newcomers from every site in the US gathered in Miami for a day of collaborating, bonding, learning, and fun. It was an opportunity to not only learn more about the company and its leaders, but learn more about my fellow colleagues on a deeper level.
