Noelle joined Satair in 2016 and is now working as a Commercial Manager based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Hear her story below.
How long have you been working at Satair? Please briefly describe your career path.
I've been working at Satair for 7 years. I got my start in the aeronautics industry in 2005 when I was hired by the French Space Agency (CNES) at the French Embassy in Washington, DC. After two years of working to build strong relations between the US and French space programs, I was hired by EADS North America (now Airbus U.S. Space & Defense). This started my long career with Airbus and now Satair (16 years total)
Why did you join Satair?
I was looking for a challenge! After 3 years in Airbus Internal Audit, I wanted to challenge myself and learn about a new industry, and I didn't know anything about the material management business... yet!
What keeps you motivated on the job in Satair?
I am routinely impressed by the innovative ideas from the Commercial & Support team. It's very dynamic and driven, so that keeps me motivated. Plus, I get to work on many different topics, so I am rarely bored.

Which of our company values resonate with you? Can you recall a situation in which you or someone else lived up to our values?
Reliability. I strive to be reliable in all that I do; that means being dependable and doing my job consistently well. Furthermore, I believe that this is certainly what our customers are looking for from us, a reliable and dependable partner.
What advice would you give a fellow Newcomer?
Please do not hesitate to contact colleagues in other departments and ask for a short (30-minute) introduction session. Our business is COMPLICATED! By creating personal links and asking questions, we simplify and improve our work.
Tell us about one of the most memorable experiences from your time at Satair. What made it so special and unforgettable?
One of my most memorable experiences at Satair was sitting next to the (former) CEO at my first Satair Christmas party. Senior management isn't always so approachable and down-to-earth in the countries where I've worked (U.S. & France). I'm pretty sure I even told him I wanted to be CEO one day! :)
