Satair, an Airbus Services company, is pleased to announce a multi-year agreement with XiamenAir (CXA) to provide Satair's Integrated Material Solutions (IMS) for expendables specific to their Airbus A320 fleet.
Leveraging Satair's extensive expertise in managing expendable materials for Airbus aircraft, the IMS will seamlessly integrate into XiamenAir's operations, optimising stock levels and enhancing stock availability. This innovative solution will ensure timely access to critical parts, driving operational efficiency and financial flexibility for the airline.
"By implementing our IMS, XiamenAir will benefit from significant advantages, including the ability to free up capital by avoiding excess inventory," said Paul Lochab, Chief Commercial Officer at Satair. "This allows CXA to reinvest in other areas of their business while enhancing their material management processes and improving forecasting and planning capabilities."
Since transitioning to operating Airbus aircraft at the end of 2022, XiamenAir has sought support in efficiently managing the expendable materials required for their A320 fleet. Satair’s partnership will enable CXA to enhance their operational capabilities as they continue to grow in the Airbus environment.
“This agreement with Satair marks an important step for XiamenAir as we optimise our operations and enhance our material management capabilities,” said Tang Jianqi, Deputy General Manager of Xiamen Airline. “We look forward to leveraging Satair’s expertise to strengthen our operational efficiency and support our ongoing commitment to excellence.”
This agreement represents Satair's first collaboration with XiamenAir, further solidifying Satair's position as a trusted partner for airlines operating Airbus fleets.
