IATA Recommended Fuel Test
FUELSTAT® resinae was established in the aviation industry more than 10 years ago as an IATA recommended test for major airlines and affiliated companies to monitor their fuel quality. Today, it is rapidly growing as the on-site fuel test for marine and fuel forecourt industries.  In January 2013, IATA moved its recommendation across to the improved version, FUELSTAT® resinae PLUS.

Conidia Bioscience is a strategic partner of IATA and has recently been presented the awarded for ‘5 years Strategic Partnership’.

“IATA Strongly recommends testing of each aircraft fuel tank for microbiological contamination at least once a year.” Sampling frequency should be dependent on the perceived operations risk. For example, short haul operations in tropics are high risk and could warrant routine monthly sampling.”

Further, the following is based on the IATA Guidelines, but we advise each user to define their policy on test frequency and actions following a positive test result.
