Honeywell Primus II equipment

Satair is the global handling partner for Honeywell Primus ll equipment and the ADS-B upgrade

Since January 1st 2017, Satair is the sole source for Primus II equipment supporting the ADS-B upgrade mandate. This means that:

  • All authorized Honeywell dealers  have to place their order with Satair in the following instances:
    • New equipment
    • Exchange and loan of Spares Exchange (SPEX) unit
    • Upgrade repairs
  • All pricing, including commercial and warranty terms, will not change and will follow the all-time valid Honeywell sales bulletin.
  • Satair will provide regional Single Points of Contacts (SPOCs) within our Customer Order Desk for Honeywell dealers.
  • To support market demand, Satair will be holding inventory of both new and repaired units.
  • Satair will be supporting Honeywell’s authorized dealer network. Operators must still place their order via the Honeywell authorized dealer network.
  • Technical support related to Primus II products, including installation, will still be handled by Honeywell technical support.

  • Satair will provide you with a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) within our Customer Order Desk in each individual region. This will ensure a smooth and consolidated handling of your needs.
  • The SPOC will be able to provide you with updates on the order process, collaborate with you to mitigate any challenges and assist you by creating transparency throughout the order process.

  • Satair will be holding inventory of both new and repaired equipment to accommodate exchanges and instances where a loaner unit is required.
  • Depending on your customer’s demands we offer either new, SPEX unit or loaner units available at the hangar before the aircraft is ready for the ADS-B upgrade installation. Furthermore, you have the option to send in the equipment for upgrade repair at Honeywell, this service will be facilitated by Satair
  • In case of unforeseen events, Satair will provide you with the best options available to mitigate the situation.
  • Satair’s AOG desk will stand by to support you 24/7/365 in cases of urgency.
  • Direct shipments between Honeywell repair operations and dealers will be organized by Satair.

 

  • To make sure that you are able to deliver on your promises to your customers, Satair will offer a pre-booking approach that will allow reserving of stock and upgrades.
  • By pre-booking we are able to inform you of the availability of the units/upgrade capability at any given time or advice another slot for planned aircraft down time in case of no availability.
  • Satair will work with a collaborative forecasting approach to ensure long term availability of units and upgrades
