Satair forms strategic partnership with HNA Technic for supply chain solution
Airshow China, Zhuhai, 14 November 2024
Satair is delighted to announce a multi-year strategic agreement with HNA Technic for its Integrated Material Services (IMS) solution. This agreement builds on the Letter of Intent signed at the China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai in November 2023, marking successful execution of the planned partnership. Under the new agreement, Satair will exclusively support HNA Aviation Group’s fleet maintenance across mainland China, covering thousands of expendable parts for over 240 Airbus aircraft, with select support for the non-Airbus fleet.
This comprehensive, long-term expendable solution is the first of its kind between the two companies, and highlights Satair’s commitment to supporting MROs with tailored and comprehensive solutions for their operations in the rapidly growing aviation market in China.
Guo Hongji, CEO of HNA Technic, expressed his satisfaction with the partnership, saying: “We are pleased to partner with Satair, a trusted leader in aviation material services, to ensure the highest standards of material support for our fleet.”
Paul Lochab, CCO of Satair, also conveyed his enthusiasm: “This agreement is a testament to our commitment to forming strategic partnerships that drive efficiency and reliability. We are pleased to bring our expertise to support HNA Aviation Group’s extensive operations and contribute to their continued success in the region.”
Andy Lee, Managing Director of Satair China, added: “This partnership underscores our dedication to understanding and fulfilling the unique needs of our customers in China, supporting their growth and operational success.”
The IMS agreement incorporates advanced planning that categorises part numbers into consignment, pool, and ad-hoc groups, ensuring dedicated service levels through these flexible solutions. This highlights the adaptable and customer-centric nature of Satair’s IMS offering.
HNA Technic acts as the sole maintenance entity for expendable material management for all mainland-based airlines within the HNA Aviation Group, reinforcing the extensive impact of this collaboration.
