A cleaner cabin with antimicrobial surface coating

Introducing AIRDAL Coating – an innovative protection system to make air travel safer for both passengers and crew

A current concern of both passengers and crew is the transmission of bacteria and viruses via high-touch surfaces like tray tables, armrests, and washroom walls. AIRDAL Coating allows you to make your passengers and crew feel safe on board your aircraft and comfortable touching surfaces.

AIRDAL Coating establishes an antimicrobial surface by creating a positively charged surface coating that attracts and destroys 99.8% of the negatively charged cell membranes of viruses and bacteria, leaving the surface safe to the touch.

AIRDAL Coating is approved by AIRBUS and will be listed in the AIRBUS Consumable Material List (CML) & Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) June 2021. The product complies with the following standards:

AMS1452C
AMS1453A

Concerning SARS-CoV-2 specifically, the AIRDAL Coating has been extensively tested and proven to provide 99.8% virus reduction as early as 24 hours after application. The product is applicable to most hard surfaces and causes no discoloring.
