Newcomers Day: dive into the aviation industry

Newcomers Day is a dedicated 1–2 day induction event designed to provide new employees with a comprehensive understanding of the aviation industry and Satair’s role. We aim for all new colleagues to attend within their first months. We use this time to help you get familiar with our culture, values, and vision through engaging sessions that connect across departments and regions. This programme is a vital component of our commitment to cross-functional collaboration, ensuring a sense of teamwork is established from the very beginning of your journey with us.

While each region plans its own specific programme, the experience is designed to provide a firsthand look at our global operations. This typically includes tours of our modern warehouse facilities, where you can learn about our logistics processes and meet the teams responsible for efficient inventory management. Depending on the location, newcomers may also have the opportunity to explore an Airbus Final Assembly Line to witness our products in action.

The event is balanced with interactive workshops focused on team-building and a deep dive into Satair’s history, core values, and goals for the future. Furthermore, these days provide a unique platform to meet key executives, allowing you to understand the leadership vision and connect with fellow newcomers across the organisation. This introduction is designed to give you the context and connections needed to succeed within the Airbus family.
